Fact checking and editing

People tend to think that a good translation corresponds to the original 1 to 1. But it can be more – it can be better. Especially when scientific and scholarly articles are translated from German into English, there is often much room for stylistic improvement. When I say “translation”, I always mean proofreading, editing and fact-checking: I just can’t help it. :) Say, if a name is misspelled or a word is repeated unintentionally – in my translation these things are fixed, if desired. Finding factual errors in texts on specialized topics requires additional work and a lot of research, but we can offer this, too, together (as always, I stand for humanities and social sciences and Pavel for politics and technology). However: we do not write bachelor or master theses for other people! Nor do we carry out fact check for graded papers.
