Remote interpreting (VRI)

With the spread of the virus, phone interpreting and video interpreting (some also say phone or video translation; officially, VRI: video remote interpreting) is gaining relevance, as more and more meetings and business negotiations take place online via video chat such as Skype. In a video meeting, the sound quality has to be considered; we have the right microphones and headphones s.  Consecutive online interpreting is the easiest option; simultaneous / conference interpreting is also possible, but preferably with video: If you can at least see the speaker on the screen, it makes simultaneous interpretation easier. Thus, international business meetings – say, with partners from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan, or from Germany – can still be held with the help of interpreters even you decide not to travel: online, by phone or video chat. Written translation of the key points of a conversation in real time is also possible.
